Terms and Conditions – New Customer Offer

1. Promoter. West Country Health Care Limited, 75 Teignmouth Road, Torquay, TQ1 4ES. Regulated and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, 457413. Registered at Companies House 5860086 (“We/Us/Our”).


2. Acceptance. These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to this voucher promotion, which runs from 11 February 2016 to 11 May 2016 (inclusive)(the “Promotion”). By participating in this Promotion, you (“You/Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms. We suggest that all Participants keep a copy of these Terms for their own records. We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or modify this Promotion at any time if circumstances outside of Our control make it unavoidable.


3. How to Enter. All eligible Participants who take out a insurance policy with Us by calling 0800 690 6990 or emailing us at [email protected] [contacting Us] and have referenced this Promotion shall be eligible to receive one (1) John Lewis or Amazon voucher to the value of £20 (Pounds Sterling) or £10 (Pounds Sterling) according to the policy type as laid out in Section 5 below and these Terms.


4. Eligibility. To qualify to enter the Promotion You must be 18 years old and a new customer of West Country Health Care Limited. We reserve the right to disqualify any Participant from the Promotion if We believe the Participant has breached these Terms. We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of all Participants.


5. Voucher. All eligible Participants who purchase a new insurance policy from Us shall be eligible to receive one (1) John Lewis or Amazon voucher of the Participant’s choice. The value of the voucher is dependent upon the type of policy purchased, as follows:


• Private Medical Insurance – one (1) £20 (Pounds Sterling) voucher

• Critical Illness – one (1) £20 (Pounds Sterling) voucher

• Life Insurance – one (1) £20 (Pounds Sterling) voucher

• Income Protection – one (1) £20 (Pounds Sterling) voucher

• Home Insurance – one (1) £10 (Pounds Sterling) voucher

• Travel Insurance – one (1) £10 (Pounds Sterling) voucher


For the avoidance of doubt, only one (1) voucher will be given for each policy taken out by a Participant, but a single Participant may receive multiple vouchers for multiple policies. The voucher is not transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. We reserve the right to substitute the John Lewis or Amazon voucher with another voucher of similar value, in the event the said vouchers are unavailable due to circumstances beyond Our reasonable control.

Delivery: Please allow 30 days from the commencement date of the policy for delivery of the voucher.


7. Final Decision. All Our decisions relating to this Promotion, including but not limited to, eligibility or otherwise in relation to the issue of a voucher are final, and shall not be open to dispute and are made in Our sole discretion. No correspondence will be entered into.


8. Liability. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or that of Our employees and agents, or for fraud. For any other loss or damage, We will only be liable for losses which are a reasonable foreseeable consequence of Our negligence or breach of these Terms up to the value of the applicable voucher. Losses that are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by You and Us at the time of You entering this Promotion. We cannot accept any responsibility for:
a) losses not caused by Our breach or negligence;
b) losses that are not foreseeable;
c) a
ny entry to this Promotion which is lost, corrupted, incomplete or fails in any way where such loss is caused by events outside of Our reasonable control;
d) technical failures or errors affecting internet connectivity, website availability or system errors where these are not within Our reasonable control; or
e) any failure by Us to provide the Promotion, the vouchers or to comply with these Terms where such failure is a result of events outside of Our reasonable control.


9. Personal Information. Any personal details relating to Participants will be used to conduct the Promotion as We have described in these Terms and will be subject to Our Privacy Policy (http://wchc.co.uk/privacy-policy/ ) and Our Terms of Business (http://wchc.co.uk/terms-of-business/).

10. Disputes. These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law, and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with these Terms and the Promotion.
